The Riverside never disappoints. Great food and beer. If you like real ale and good honest pub food I cannot recommend it highly enough

Went for Sunday lunch , regretted it straight away , food was cold, some weird sausage was the first bite and it was cold .
In fact , if you could catch flu off of a meal …that’s the one that’ll do it!
It’s default mode when cooking a hot dinner …too have it hot, I mean clue is in the name really!!

Went for Christmas party - moved to a table in the middle of the restaurant rather than the snug. Place was overcrowded with louts and the DJ deafeningly loud, making it impossible to converse. Food was poor including highlights such as; one slice of beef, one roast potato, half a carrot and half a parsnip. Pea & Mint soup was nice, probably bought from the TESCO round the corner.

We went here for a Sunday roast after seeing it on instagram but it was really disappointing undercooked,
hard veg, 2 undercooked (readymade) potatoes and flavourless thin gravy and no one checked how it was or cleared the tables or anything really the pie was ok 🆗
But it was £17.50 so far too expensive for a really poor meal!
Overall no I wouldn’t recommend it or go back here much better places in Sheffield for a roast dinner!
